Dear Reader,

Most of the writing I do is for a purpose. I write cover letters to get jobs, pilots to win fellowships, Modern Love essays to get myself on the map. That’s not to say that writing those things aren’t fun (although the cover letters certainly aren’t), but they lack a certain freedom. The writing in this magazine will never feel like that. It is, almost like a journal, just a collection of random ideas and thoughts I had during any given month. I will not police myself. I will just write and not look back.

Special thanks to Brooke from whom I totally stole the idea of a monthly magazine. You inspire me.
